Ms. Emily
Transitional Kindergarten
Teaching experience:
Ms. Emily brings her years of experience as she has been teaching
for over a decade. During that time she has worked with children of all ages, recently as the transitional kindergarten teacher. We are so happy she joined us in 2016 as she brings many talents to the program. The success of her Spanish curriculum is a bonus.
Interests:
Ms. Emily loves to craft, dance, travel, make videos, and help out in my church.
Message from Ms. Emily:
I love to teach because I love watching children grow as they
learn the things we are working hard on. Being able to take a brand new idea, teach that idea, and then see the little lightbulbs go off is wonderful. I do not have children but I treat my students as if they were my own. Working in a Christian preschool makes it possible to openly share with the children and families the love of God.
Ms. Victoria
Kindergarten & 1st
Teaching experience:
Ms. Victoria worked along side a kindergarten teacher in the local
public school for 2 years. She gained wonderful experience that she brought to JUMP Preschool as the TK teacher, then the Kindergarten teacher more than 4 years ago, and now she will bring that to her class at Lighthouse Literacy Academy. Her ability to make learning fun, and creative while make sure important lessons are covered makes her loved
by all her students.
Interests:
Ms. Victoria loves being a mom and wife. She is a Navy wife and a mom of 2 beautiful children and is excited for her third due in March.
Message from Ms. Victoria:
It brings me great joy to know that in my work I am able
advocate of early childhood literacy, as well as to helping to ignite in children a love of learning and reading. Pointing children to Jesus is an honor and privilege that I don’t take lightly.
Ms. Jackie
2nd & 3rd
Teaching experience:
Ms. Jackie has been in education over the past 20 years. She has worn many hats over the years from teaching infants, preschool, and kindergarten to being a director, and even a curriculum specialist. Her thorough understanding of the many ways that children learn, and to be able to provide the support to the teachers to implement Individual Reading Plans is invaluable.
Ms. Jackie's Interests:
Ms. Jackie loves crafting and spending time with my family. She is a mom to 3 of her own children ages 8-14. She has been married to her husband for 17 years. She loves the role as a Pastor's wife.
Message from Ms. Jackie:
Working at a Christian school makes me so happy, I get to share with the children the love of Jesus everyday. I love watching how children learn and grow and seeing their excitement when they understand something new. I have a passion for trying and implementing new ways of teaching for each child's different learning styles.
Ms. Aylin
Aide
Teaching experience:
Ms. Aylin comes from a family of educators. All three sisters enjoy their careers as early ed teachers. Starting in 2018 Ms. Aylin has learned form some of the most qualified teachers and is excited to be an assistant to the LLA program. The children adore Ms. Aylin showering her with sweet drawings, and lots of hugs.
Interests:
Ms. Aylin is a volleyball fanatic and even participated in the pre-olympic level where I won 3 medals in Mexico 2014-2016. She is in college and working on her degree as a nursing student, and she wishes to specialize in pediatrics.

I just love working with children, they are a gift from God. I
am proud to be able to help the children to succeed each day not only in the school work, but in all they do each day.
